Super Bowl Food

Need a quick food idea for your Super Bowl party well I have 2 great dips!!!

First is:
Homemade Salsa
Here is what you will need
2 cans of whole tomatoes
1- 4oz can of green chilies
1 jalapeno pepper
half of a bell pepper
a bunch of cilantro
3 onions ( the green stick kind) : )
lemon juice
garlic powder
salt
sugar

Drain both cans of tomatoes
put those in your food processor
Blend for a few seconds so you have room to add your other stuff too!
add your chopped green chilies to your tomatoes
add 2 teaspoons of lemon juice
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons salt
and 1 teaspoon sugar

Next:
Add your half bell pepper
Remember to remove the seeds! Cut into small strips or small pieces
Add your 3 stick onions. I use my kitchen shears to cut them up.
Take about a 1/4 of the bunch of cilantro wash it and trim the ends off. I use my shears again and just cut the cilantro into the food processor.
Next is the jalapeno.
If you want to make HOT salsa cut the top of the jalapeno and cut it half and throw it in.
If you have small children who also may want to eat it, take all the seeds out of your jalapeno. If you even get one in there it will be a little spicy!

After you get all this in your food processor, put your lid on and turn it on for about 20 seconds.
It should look like this

Put in a bowl cover and put it in the refrigerator until you are ready to eat!

Next is:
Cream Cheese dip
You will need:
2 packages cream cheese
1 can rotel
1 thing of sausage

Soften the cream cheese
cut into small squares and add to your crockpot
I turn it on to high until I get everything added
Add your can of rotel

Brown your sausage, make sure you get it cook really well.
Add it to the crockpot
Stir everything together and put the lid on!
Turn down to low.
Stir every now and then to make sure all the cream cheese is melted!
Get your tortilla chips ready and enjoy!!!!
